ASABE 5th National Decennial Irrigation Conference

The Irrigation Association has partnered with the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers to bring you the 5th National Decennial Irrigation Conference, held in conjunction with Irrigation Show 2010. The conference will feature 20 education sessions covering topics related to both agriculture and turf/landscape.

For consideration as a presenter:

  • Your 150-word typed abstract must be submitted online no later than Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.
  • ASABE and IA reserve the right to limit submissions to one paper; acceptance is not guaranteed.
  • Your abstract must include concise descriptive content that explains the value of the information. Papers/presentations must be non-proprietary and educational in nature, not sales or product specific.
  • Papers may include research, programs and case studies.
  • You must present your paper in SI units; translators are not permitted.
  • Upon acceptance, each speaker will be required to submit a $250 publishing fee, as well as a complete written paper, by April 1, 2010.
  • As a benefit of presenting, presenters receive a complimentary full registration, which includes access to the exhibits, General Session & Keynote and a copy of the conference proceedings CD.
  • Travel and hotel expenses are the responsibility of the presenter.
