Irrigation Association® Common Interest Groups provide a unique opportunity to network and discuss common challenges with irrigation professionals with similar interests.
CIG meetings are open to all IA members; advance registration is not required.

MISSION: To inform the public about the importance of agricultural irrigation.
To help the agricultural irrigation community become better stewards of our natural resources.
To enhance the public image of irrigated agriculture.
Monday, Dec. 6, 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
MISSION: To promote the use and acceptance of center pivot/lateral move products through marketing and advertising.
Monday, Dec. 6, 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
MISSION: To transfer the ideas of skilled landscape irrigation contractors into action. Goals include: impact legislation;
develop improved, consistent business standards, encourage networking and enhance contractor status.

MISSION: To serve as a forum for designers to discuss issues pertaining
to irrigation design.
Tuesday, Dec. 7, 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
MISSION: To promote the use of drip and microirrigation as a more efficient method of
irrigation. To provide industry direction in identifying needs and
developing solutions to drip/microirrigation problems, which are
water and energy efficient and environmentally sensitive.
Monday, Dec. 6, 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
MISSION: To promote professionalism within the ranks of independent irrigation manufacturers’ representatives.
advocate independent irrigation representatives to manufacturers and help manufacturers in their selection process.
To encourage sound irrigation practices at all levels of the industry.

MISSION: To foster an ethic of efficient irrigation and water use within the nursery and floriculture industries.

MISSION: To identify and promote efficient landscape and irrigation design through membership in professional organizations,
education and training, certification, legislation and research. To promote turfgrass issue discussions.
