All media attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the following onsite resources at the 2009 Irrigation Show.

Press Room

Located in a prominent position on the Irrigation Show floor, the press room includes:

  • Information about the Irrigation Show.
  • Exhibitor press releases.
  • Irrigation Association® and industry resources.

IA staff will be on hand throughout the show to answer questions and offer personalized tours of the show floor.

Press Conferences

The Irrigation Association will hold two press conferences during the 2009 Irrigation Show.

Wednesday, Dec. 3, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Media members are invited to join IA President Stephen W. Smith to receive an update on the IA strategic plan and to tour the New Product Contest area. Participants will head to the New Product Contest area at 11:00 a.m. Media members will be allowed onto the show floor two hours before the general public to view contest judging and speak with IA staff and other participants.

Thursday, Dec. 4, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Media are invited to a press conference immediately following the General Session & Keynote. Incoming IA President Mike Harrington will introduce IA’s newly appointed leadership. Harrington and the keynote speaker will be available for a Q&A period with assembled media.
